BPS - Base Points

               It is just an unit equivalent to hundred. It is used to indicate the change in rate of interest and other financial instrument.
                   1 Base Point is equal to 0.01%

 RBI has recently reduced 50 BPS in Maintaining SLR and 25 BPS in LAF.
as a result the SLR now at 21.5%, Repo at 7.75% Reverse repo at 6.75% and MSF at 8.75%.

Insurance Awareness - eIA

eIA - Electronic Insurance Account
                      It will safeguard the insurance policy document of policy holders in electronic form. this eIA facilitates the policy holders by providing access to  insurance portfolio at the click of a button through internet. Each account holder has a unique account number and each user is granted with a User id and Password to access their accounts.
